D'Juan Hych

D’Juan Hych, a proud father of two from East St. Louis, IL, is an accomplished educator and instructional leader. He holds a B.A. in Business Management from Jackson State University, an M.S. in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology Leadership.

Since beginning his teaching career in 2014 through Teach For America in Houston, TX, Hych has earned multiple awards for driving student achievement on district and state assessments. Now serving as a Dean of Instruction, he leads systems-level work to improve instructional practices, boost engagement, and deliver measurable academic gains.

Beyond academics, Hych actively supports student organizations to build belonging and life skills. Driven by his personal journey, he is deeply committed to creating opportunities for youth and leaving a lasting impact—both inside and outside the classroom.
