NCAA Read To The Final Four
Reading With A Rapper (RWAR) made history by partnering with the NCAA to reimagine Read to the Final Four through the first-ever national literacy tour, blending hip-hop culture with reading engagement across host cities. This groundbreaking initiative brought RWAR’s signature edutainment model into classrooms, where students competed in bracket-style reading challenges powered by rhythm, storytelling, and community pride. The partnership culminated in RWAR producing the first and only halftime show for the NCAA Men’s Championship Game—a cultural milestone that transformed the court into a stage for literacy, featuring live performances by RWAR artists and celebrating the power of words, beats, and youth voice on a national platform.
Fleming Ft. Bun B
In collaboration with Kids Footlocker, we rededicated a space for students going into their first year of Middle School coming out of Covid-19. Bun B who now is a board member of RWAR, surprised the group of students with words of encouragement breaking down one of his song from his legendary discography.
Bloom Academy
Big news for Sunnyside! We’re teaming up with Bloom Academy to bring our full RWAR program to their 3rd–5th grade students! Igniting a new era of culturally grounded literacy, creativity, and community pride. As part of this partnership, we’ll be renovating dedicated spaces at Bloom to create immersive STAR Academy Zones that empower both students and educators. This isn’t just a school activation—it’s the beginning of a movement that will ripple into the Sunnyside community, transforming how we learn, lead, and celebrate together.
College Park Ft. 2 Chainz
In collaboration with Kids Footlocker, we rededicated a space for Atlanta’s own, 2 Chainz. The featured artist chose College Park Elementary, the neighborhood in which the artist was raised. Students studied 2 Chainz for 4 weeks learning social, and emotional tools that help them learn how to express their emotions properly!
